Effective July 1, 2002, Chapter 507, Florida Statutes requires any company engaged in intrastate moving to register annually with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Consumer Services. This is done in order to make sure that the movers carry all necessary insurance policies. A Mover’s license is issued for one year and must be renewed annually.
